LIFE CONSISTS OF...

“A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” Luke 12:15

If, as our Lord says, our life does not consist in the abundance of our possessions, of what should our life consist—what is that full, abundant life Jesus referred to in John 10:10? Here are a few of my thoughts...

A life abundant in relationships (God, family and friends)
A life abundant in giving
A life abundant in serving
A life abundant in caring
A life abundant in worship
A life with more love and less self
A life with more simplicity and less stuff
A life with more walks in the park with grandkids and less busyness
A life with more willingness to listen than talk
A life with more trust in God and less worry
A life with a heart for the least of these
A life with a heart set on things above
A life with a heart for God
A life with a forgiving heart
A life with a contrite heart
What will your grandchildren learn about life from your life?
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34)

GRANDPAUSE: Treasure is not about dollars and cents nearly as much as it is about perspectives and values. –unknown
