Grandparent with a Purpose

THE CHILDHOOD OF JESUS

We have just finished celebrating the birth of Jesus. Now as we are putting our decorations and tree trimmings away it is a good time to think about his childhood?
After his birth, we read about Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to the temple as required by the Law of the Lord and returned to their town of Nazareth.

“And the child grew and became strong;
he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.”
Luke 2:39, 40.

He grew and matured just like our grandchildren. He went to school, played with his friends, and did his chores around the house as our grandchildren. I would like to think his grandparents enjoyed watching him play and mature just as we enjoy our grandchildren.

Pray that your grandchildren will grow and become strong physically, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God will be upon them, like Jesus.
