VALENTINE SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR GRANDCHILDREN
VALENTINE SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR GRANDCHILDREN

Valentines is a wonderful opportunity to send each of your grandchildren a Valentines card with a note expressing your love and you are praying for them. Let them know how special they are to you and Jesus.
God’s Little Princess
One of our blog readers, a grandmother in Florida sent me an email recently telling me about the Christmas gift she gave her little granddaughter. I thought it would also be a great idea for a Valentine’s gift for a little granddaughter to let her know that she is not only her grandparent’s princess but also God’s princess.
She writes, “We try every year to keep Christ in Christmas. We try to have meaning to our presents to our grandchildren. Every year it is a struggle to do so. However, one of the special gifts this year went to our five-year-old granddaughter who LOVES to dress up as all the Disney Princesses. So this year, we bought her a lovely pink princess dress and included this letter.”
Dear _______,
“You became a real princess the moment you prayed and asked Jesus to live in your heart, April 13, 2011. And since He is the King of Kings and you are His daughter that makes you His princess.” You will always be our little princess too.
We love you very much.
Grandpa and Grandma ______
Pray for your grandchildren to invite Jesus Christ into their hearts so they too, will be a prince or princess of the King of Kings.
A Valentine’s Prayer for your Grandchild
Dear God, give ___________ a good heart:
- a heart that is gentle, tender, and teachable
- a heart that loves You
- a heart that wants to obey You
- a heart You can use for Your glory
In Jesus name, Amen
