Only 36 days left until the Grandparents Day of Prayer on September 9, which will be here soon. Have you set aside that date to meet with grandparents in your church or to invite other grandparents into your home to pray for your grandchildren.
Our grandchildren are living in a desperate moral and spiritual climate navigating in a world hostile to truth. Satan has launched an aggressive attack on all fronts using media, technology, education, social influences and political pressures to desensitize and cloud the boundaries of truth and righteousness that hold nations and families together. Lillian Ann Penner is the author of Grandparenting with a Purpose: Effective Ways to Pray for your Grandchildren, speaker, National Prayer Coordinator for Christian Grandparenting Network, directing the Grandparents@Prayer groups. She and her husband, John, have been married over 50 years and currently reside in Portland, OR. They have three married sons and nine grandchildren, who are the love of their life.
Lillian has been active in church ministry for over 50 years, led a mentoring ministry for women, participated in short term mission’s trip in Ukraine, and volunteered with several Christian ministries.
