No Invititation Needed

In this month’s devotional, I shared about Queen Esther and her role in saving the lives of the Jews in Susa. We learned that Queen Esther had to be invited by the King Xerxes to even come into his presence. She couldn’t talk to her husband whenever she wanted. Therefore, when Mordecai asked Queen Esther to go to the king to beg and plead for her people, she had to risk her life to go into his presence.

However, as believers we can bring our concerns to the Lord with boldness and confidence at any time. We do not need an invitation, like Esther who had to be invited by the king to come into his presence. We have an open invitation. Our Father is always available, even waiting for us to come into his presence with our challenges, disappointments, crisis, and concerns.

Let’s pray that we, as grandparents will see the opportunities God gives us to teach our grandchildren that God is always available to them. He is waiting for them to bring their fears and concerns to Him. “God has promised to never fail us nor forsake us.”?
