For Such A Time As This

In the devotional this month about Esther, we also see God’s providence at work in the life of Queen Esther. In God’s faithfulness, we see his sovereign work even in the negative moments of Esther’s life, as they became stepping-stones toward God’s plan.

Esther was an orphan being raised by her uncle Mordecai however, God moved her from being a Jewish orphan girl to being a beautiful queen in the royal place.

Mordecai told Esther “What’s more, who can say but that you have been elevated to the palace for such a time as this? “? Since we know the end of the story we can see that God placed this Jewish orphan in the royal palace “for such a time as this” for him to accomplish his plan.

  • Pray for God to work out his divine guidance in the lives of your grandchildren and family members.
  • Pray they will see their crisis, challenges, and disappointments in life as stepping-stones in their spiritual development for their life’s journey. God often uses our crisis to point us in the right direction.
