Paul is writing to Titus that he is to set an example by doing good works of every kind, showing integrity, sincerity, and honesty. We as grandparents are to be a good example to our grandchildren, reflecting integrity, sincerity,  and honesty by the way we live our lives.

Integrity is adhering to a code of values being trustworthy and genuine. Sincerity is to be honest, genuine, and authentic. Just as Paul instructed Titus to model a life of integrity, sincerity and genuineness, we should  teach our grandchildren these actions.

We are to do good deeds of every kind because we love God, desiring to demonstrate His love to others, not to look good.  The Bible, God’s Word is a good manual to teach us how to live and do good to others. God’s Word will always remain the same, yesterday, today and forever however, the world’s code of value changes.

Dear Lillian,

I read this email just as my husband and I are about to go to NJ to be with our daughter and grand-daughter for several days, and our other daughter and our grandson are going with us -- We haven't had a "vacation" together for a long time -- Again, perfect timing on your part!
